Questions
Will our forms look different?
We preserve your content and aim to keep your layout. Anything that changes content or layout, like making a print-only form fillable, is agreed with you in advance.
How is the work done?
The work is AI-assisted: we use AI and automated tools to make the fixes, then check every file against our 10-point checklist, including a word-for-word comparison with your original and a page-by-page visual check.
What do you test, and what don’t you?
Every file gets PDF/UA-1 validation (veraPDF) and the 10-point checklist below. Hands-on testing with screen-reader software is not currently included by default, and each report says exactly which checks were done.

Can’t our staff do this in Acrobat?
Yes, if they have the time and know-how: Acrobat Pro can tag documents and add form fields, but doing it well takes careful manual work for each file. We’re for teams that would rather hand it off at a fixed price. The free check is yours to keep either way.
Why do prices vary so much between providers?
It depends on what’s included. Fully automated tools are the cheapest; expert manual remediation with hands-on assistive-technology testing costs the most. We’re in between: AI-assisted fixes, automated validation, and a word-for-word and visual check of every file, with a report that says what wasn’t tested. That’s why we show our price and our limits up front.
Does this make us compliant?
We do not certify ADA or Section 504 compliance, or full WCAG conformance. Each report identifies the checks performed and their limitations.
Privacy
We use the details you send through the form or by email only to reply and provide the service. Our email, hosting, payment and AI providers process them as needed to do the work, and our server keeps basic logs of page visits. We don’t use tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your information. We delete the files you send and the files we produce 30 days after delivery (or 30 days after a free check), unless you ask us to keep them longer. Please send blank documents only, never patient or personal information.
Who is behind Birch Page?

We’re not a certification body or a team of accessibility specialists, and we say exactly what was and wasn’t tested.
Can we pay by purchasing card or invoice?
Usually. We can send an invoice and complete standard vendor forms; card payment is available once your quote is accepted. Purchase orders with extra terms (insurance, indemnity, security) are reviewed before we accept them.
